Super simple, cozy muffin!

I grew up eating these muffins, so they are a lifelong favourite of mine. The simplicity of these may give away how picky of an eater I was as a child haha. A very simple, slightly dense vanilla batter with chocolate chips and a cinnamon sugar sprinkle on top. This simple flavour combo really hits. The batter is very thick as you can see below, so don’t let that throw you off.

Ingredients:
Batter
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c greek yogurt, or whipped cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 c chocolate chips
Topping
- 1/4 c chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- In large bowl, mix butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs, yogurt and vanilla and mix until smooth.
- Fold in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips
- Scoop evenly into 12 muffin liners
- Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over muffins
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffy and browned and enjoy ☺️

- Use parchment paper for DIY easy peel muffin liners that will make your muffins look professional!
