The least intimidating type of bread, so easy to make and hard to mess up!

| Time: | 2 hours | Serving size: | 6 buns |
Ingredients:
- 500g flour (either all-purpose or bread flour if you’re feeling fancy)
- 400 g warm water
- 2 tsp yeast
- 10 g salt

Directions:
- Mix yeast and water and let sit 5 minutes.
- Add salt and add in flour, combining until there is no dry flour remaining. Cover with a towel and let sit 15 minutes.
- Perform the following 3 times:
- Go around bowl, grabbing edge of dough, pull to stretch and fold it over, doing about 4-6 folds. Wet your hands before starting to help prevent the dough sticking to your hands. Each time you do this you should notice the dough get smoother and stretch nicer.
- Let rest, covered, for 15 minutes.
- Let dough rest covered for 1 hour.
- Cover your hands in flour to prevent sticking. Portion dough into 6 balls, dipping each one in flour also to avoid sticking and place them spread out on baking sheet, and pat down so they are a bit flatter. Let rest 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Put tray in oven and bake 20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- Enjoy 😊
Tips:
- Make it freezer friendly: These buns are good to pop in the freezer once they have been baked, then just let them sit at room temperature to thaw once you are ready to eat them!
