My go-to to please meat-eaters and fellow veggies!

You can use this basic cauliflower bite recipe and zhuzh it up with any spices or sauces you want so it matches the vibes of whichever dishes you’re eating it with.

I have made so many iterations of this recipe over the years. This is the most foolproof, guaranteed crispy version I have come up with. You don’t have to do cornstarch and breadcrumbs, you could just do one or the other, depending on what you have on hand, up to you, head chef!
| Time: | 1 hour | Servings: | 4 |
Ingredients:
- 1/2 head cauliflower
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 c cornstarch
- 1/4 c breadcrumbs
- Optional: seasonings/sauces of choice

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Chop your cauliflower into bite sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, water, salt, spices together to create a thick batter, add a bit of extra water if too thick.
- Toss cauliflower in batter until well coated.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over cauliflower and mix until evenly distributed. Batter should be very thick and tacky now.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread out evenly on lightly oiled, large baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Toss in sauce of choice.
- Enjoy 😊
Tips:
- Make it flavourful: Some of my favourite ways to spice this up are by tossing them in buffalo sauce, teriyaki sauce or some hot honey after cooking!
