The effort makes them taste even better than chips from the bag!

If you for some reason have a mandolin, that would come in very handy for this! If not, this is good practice for your knife skills haha. Try to cut to as even of a thickness as possible to ensure even cooking, otherwise some chips will burn while others are still floppy.

Ingredients:
- 1 potato
- Oil
- Salt
- Seasonings of choice

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 (convection if possible)
- Thinly slice potato, then soak in ice cold water
- Pat potatoes dry
- Toss in oil to lightly coat potatoes
- Lay potato slices in single layer on baking sheet
- Bake for 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway (removing any slices that are getting overly crispy as needed)
- Once removed from oven, toss in salt/seasoning blend of choice.
