Vegan Caesar Dressing

My mom’s favourite recipe of mine! And moms are always our most unbiased reviewers, right?

I will put this dressing on anything, I once ate a whole head of romaine in one sitting because it had this dressing, I will put it on my avocado toast, I will use it as a dip, I love this sauce. I have made a quadruple recipe and stored it in my fridge for a while, so would recommend doing that if you too are a fan!

I apologize this recipe is written with many ranges, but you can pick any amount within any of the ranges and it will be delicious, it all just depends on preference! Personally, I go for 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp honey and 2 tbsp of water, because I just have to have the most of everything. If you’re unsure, start with the lower end of the range and you can always add more to your taste!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 cloves garlic (depending on how much of a garlic girlie you are)
  • 1/2-1 tsp honey (depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have)
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, or 1/2 tsp if dried dill (optional)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp water (depending on how thick you like it)

Directions:

  1. Mix together all ingredients except water, it may look separated and gross but don’t worry, once we add water the magic happens and it emulsifies!
  2. Add water 1 splash at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, stop adding water once sauce is smooth and at desired consistency.
  3. That’s it, you have vegan caesar dressing! Enjoy 😊
